Promoting a Safer Church
At St Andrew's we take our safeguarding responsibilities seriously as part of our Christian duty to love our neighbour. You can find our safeguarding policy here:
Safeguarding Policy
St Andrew's Church have adopted the House of Bishops 'Promoting a Safer Church' policy and the Parish Safeguarding Handbook, incorporating the House of Bishop's Safeguarding Policy and Practice Guidance.
A copy of this, and all the information below can be found here: Church of England Policy Statement
We also display a safeguarding poster priminenty within our Church building and Church Hall, along with relevant phone numbers and contact details.
All those working with children and adults at risk have undergone safer recruitment and received safeguarding training.
