Women's Ministry Page Banner

At St Andrew’s we want to encourage women to live for Jesus in every area of their lives: whether that’s at home, at work, with family and friends or as part of the church family. We want our women to grow in this both on Sundays, as we hear God’s word and spend time as a church family, and throughout the week. We encourage everyone in our church family to:
  • prioritise meeting as a church family at one of our Sunday Services,
  • be a faithful member of one of our weekly Home Groups where we can encourage and support one another
  • use the gifts that God has given us to serve our church family and those around us.
Aside from these, there are other things we encourage women to get involved with to help them to grow as Christians:

Prayer Triplets

We encourage women to meet together to read God’s word and pray. This gives us a safe place to share with others what’s going on in our lives and to encourage each other to live for Jesus in the midst of it. If you would be interested in this, please speak to Becca or Michelle.

Women’s Breakfasts & Women's Getaway

We have a Women’s Breakfast in the Summer and Autumn term on a Saturday morning, and this is a chance for us to enjoy breakfast together and to encourage each other in our walk with Jesus. In the spring term we have a women's getaway where we go away for 24 hours to spend time learning from God's word and building each other up. Speak to Michelle for more information about any of these.

Women’s Events

As part of our Women’s Ministry we want to help the women in our church family to speak to their friends and family about Jesus. We run an event most terms that women can invite their friends to so that they can hear about Jesus in a fun and relaxed environment. Speak to Michelle if you want to know what’s coming up next!
